934 Gallery is a 100% volunteer run non-profit art gallery. Our volunteers are a critical part of our ability to deliver on our mission.

If you’re ready to get involved and want to join our volunteer team, the same Volunteer Interest Form will let you indicate that and we’ll get you scheduled to join us at a Gallery Open Hours where one of our Board Members will show you around, share what we’ve got coming up at the gallery, and help you get started!

Volunteer Committees

The volunteer committees represent the teams that work to support the gallery. Volunteers can do work that supports multiple committees if they choose.

  • 934 Fest – our annual festival, held the second weekend in September. Although we need the most help for the two days of the festival, many of our Fest committees meet throughout the spring and summer:
    • Music Committee
    • Murals Committee
    • HQ/Logistics Committee
    • Security Committee
    • Kids Area Committee
  • 934 Gallery Open Hours and Events – help us showcase our artists to the community by maintaining regular open hours. We are open every Saturday from 12-3pm, and our monthly exhibition openings are the 3rd Friday from 6-9pm. We also host periodic events in our space.
  • Marketing Committee – our marketing team manages the public face of 934 Gallery. Some of the many things they work on inlcude:
    • Social Media Management
    • Email Newsletter
    • Branding and Digital Assets
  • Development Committee – our development team works hard to fundraise to support our mission (Pay Artists).
  • Exhibitions Committee – our exhibitons committee supports the physical installation and deinstallation of our Gallery and our satellite pop-up spaces.
  • Butterfly Garden and Grounds – our Butterfly Garden is a Fest favorite, and our passionate volunteers keep the butterflies coming back.
