Flint Garrabrant

Flint Garrabrant, a high school art educator in Central Ohio, has taught in public schools since 2009. In his current role he serves as a high school art teacher in his district for courses in Drawing, Painting, and Advanced Art Studio. Garrabrant graduated with a BA from Otterbein College in 2009, then his Masters in Art Education from the Ohio State University in 2024.

A devotee of arts education, he holds membership in the National Education Association (NEA), National Art Education Association (NAEA), Ohio Education Association (OEA), and the Ohio Art Education Association (OAEA). He is currently Regional Director Elect for the Central Region of the OAEA and has earned the Outstanding Art Teacher Award for Central Region OAEA in 2025. 

Garrabrant has been a juried presenter at every OAEA annual conference since 2020. In Southwest Licking Schools he has presented at several Professional Development conferences, and currently serves on the district’s AI Policy Committee. He has also served as guest presenter for the Dublin Area Art League in 2026.

As Fine and Youth Arts Directors for the Ohio Expo Center from 2021 to 2025, he helped restart the Ohio State Fair Fine Arts Exhibition after the pandemic closure. During that time he instituted the annual Tiny Art Show, annual Mural Competition, and wrote the updated Fine Arts employee manual. He has also worked as Studio Manager earning top sales for Portrait Innovations in 2012. Garrabrant also holds artist membership with the Ohio Art League and Wild Goose Creative.
