Red Fox is the species of fox with widest distribution. They inhabit most of the Northern Hemisphere, and their status is listed as “least concern” by the International Union for Conservation of Nature, due to their ability to adapt to human expansion.
Having been introduced to Australia with disastrous results, red fox is on the list of the world’s 100 worst invasive species.
